ADA Accessible Porta Potty Rental Around Boerne, TX
An ADA unit is a lot roomier than the regular kind. There's no step at the door, so a wheelchair can roll straight in, and once inside there's space to turn around. Sturdy rails are mounted on the walls.
How It Differs From a Regular Unit
- The floor sits flush with the ground
- The door opens wider
- There's enough room to turn a wheelchair
- Rails on the walls to hold onto
- Space for a helper to step in too
Should You Get One?
If older relatives are coming to the graduation party, the answer is probably yes. These units are handy for anyone with a walker, a cane or a bad knee, not only folks in wheelchairs. For anything open to the public, plan on having at least one. Some venues and towns have their own rules about accessible restrooms, so it's smart to ask them.
Setting It Up
A driveway, a patio or packed, level ground is ideal. Wheels get stuck in soft grass, mud and loose gravel. Keep it close to the action, and make sure nothing like a hose, a cooler or a lawn chair is blocking the path.
